IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ANCIENTS
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ANCIENTS is a unique approach that incorporates and goes beyond the Trivium and Quadrivium foundation of Liberal Arts education. You will discover their ancient origins, different kinds of learning, and what is really meant by ‘ancient wisdom’. Together we will design a course of study just for you, using primary ancient texts (Eastern and Western), later historical primary texts, and primary as well as secondary contemporary sources which may include videos, documentary films, podcasts and online lectures. We may also include popular films, shows, fine arts and anything else you like. Think of this Option as learning about ancient (including so-called ‘mysteries’ and ‘secret’) teachings, and how they can be applied to the world today. (A ‘Personalized ESL’ component may be added to this Option.)
